Thoughtful, consistent interface content is a core element of a well-designed experience.
Services
The services content type describes things the library does, offerings that require some sort of interaction by or contact with Libraries staff. Offerings described as services must include an action facilitating that contact point. The focus of offerings using the services content type must be on the service itself, even if aspects of the offering might also include resource, space, or guide components.

Spaces
The spaces content type describes physical spaces in our libraries. Offerings described as spaces must include the physical location of the space. The focus of offerings using the spaces content type must be on the space itself, even if the space contains resources, or offers services.

Example: The Breakerspace is a free-to-use, student-centered makerspace, managed and funded by the Libraries. It is located on the second floor of Walter Library, on the East Bank campus. All majors, years, and skill levels welcome.

The focus of offerings using the resources contact type must be on the resource itself, even if aspects of the offering might also include service, space, or guide components.
