Inline quotes

Follow guidelines for when to use inline quotes. Use the <q> element, which surrounds the text in quotation marks. The <q> element may be nested and provides the correct quotation marks.

Blockquotes

When a quote is longer, use <blockquote> and provide a citation if possible.

I learned this, at least, by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.
